Chargebacks911 and cside have announced a strategic partnership aimed at tackling fraud and chargebacks for merchants worldwide.
The collaboration has been formed to reduce chargebacks, strengthen client-side security, and help businesses address fraud and compliance issues in real time. By combining dispute management expertise with advanced monitoring capabilities, the companies hope to deliver greater protection for merchants while improving the customer experience.
Chargebacks911 has over 14 years of experience helping businesses prevent and remediate chargebacks. Its services include dispute management, revenue recovery and fraud mitigation for merchants facing growing pressure from evolving consumer behaviour and regulatory requirements.
cside, meanwhile, offers a client-side security platform that tracks user login locations, provides device identification and analyses website usage patterns. Its technology is designed to protect against browser-based vulnerabilities, third-party script compromises and supply chain attacks.
Through this partnership, merchant clients of both companies will gain access to proactive solutions that manage disputes, prevent fraud and provide valuable data for payment compliance programmes. The collaboration will also support merchants with compelling evidence requirements under Visa’s Compelling Evidence 3.0 and Mastercard’s First-Party Trust Program, in addition to helping them address risks such as enumeration attacks monitored under Visa’s Acquirer Monitoring Program (VAMP).
The companies noted that fraud continues to rise, with chargebacks increasingly seen as a significant financial burden for businesses. Mastercard has reported that nearly one in five small businesses affected by chargeback fraud have been forced into bankruptcy, while Visa has estimated that as many as 75% of chargebacks involve abuse or misuse. Chargebacks911’s own research shows merchants have a net recovery rate of just 18%.
