Cybersecurity firm Freeze raises $2.6m seed round to enhance attack surface protection

Freeze, a cybersecurity company specialising in proactive offensive security, has raised $2.6m in a seed funding round.

The funding round was backed by a group of angel investors, cybersecurity specialists, and technology experts who recognise the increasing demand for security solutions that move beyond traditional reactive approaches.

Freeze Inc. is reshaping cybersecurity by tackling the root cause of attacks—information exploitation and human exploitation. With hackers leveraging data to craft targeted and AI-driven cyber threats, the company aims to cut off their access by identifying and removing exposed information before it can be weaponised. This approach minimises the chances of hackers tricking employees or infiltrating organisations.

The fresh capital will be used to expand Freeze’s team, scale its go-to-market strategy, and accelerate product development. The company also plans to increase its range of integrations and enhance its existing capabilities to keep pace with the growing demand for proactive security solutions.

Freeze CEO Domenic Perfetti said, “With hackers relying heavily on information, and the profiles created, to execute their attacks, the traditional reactive security approach is no longer enough to prevent these targeted and scalable attacks.

“At Freeze, we’re empowering organizations with a proactive, maintenance-free solution that reduces and protects their attack surface and their teams without disrupting daily operations. This funding is a testament to the growing demand for proactive offensive security solutions that stay ahead of evolving threats.”
