Fenergo, a provider of AI-powered CLM and financial crime compliance solutions, has announced the appointment of Hishaam Caramanli as its new president and COO.
The appointment is effective immediately, with Caramanli reporting directly to CEO Marc Murphy.
The Dublin-headquartered FinTech is known for its technology that helps financial institutions automate compliance and enhance customer onboarding. Its platform combines regulatory expertise and artificial intelligence to streamline CLM, improve operational efficiency, and reduce financial crime risk across global markets.
In his new role, Caramanli will lead Fenergo’s product, engineering and customer functions, with a focus on driving client-centric innovation and accelerating value creation. He will play a central role in executing Fenergo’s product vision and ensuring alignment between technology strategy and customer outcomes.
Caramanli joins the company with a strong background in building large-scale financial technology platforms. Before joining Fenergo, he served as group chief product officer at ION Markets, where he oversaw product strategy and delivery for a portfolio generating over €1bn in revenue. He previously held senior leadership roles as global head of UBS Neo and global head of Morgan Stanley Matrix — both recognised as leading institutional trading platforms.
