Sola Security raises $35m to expand AI no-code platform

Israeli start-up Sola Security has secured new backing as it looks to reshape how security teams build and deploy tools.

According to Security Week, the company announced a $35m Series A funding round, bringing its total funding to $65m. The round was led by S32, with participation from M12, Microsoft’s venture fund, New Era Capital Partners, as well as existing backers including Mike Moritz, S Capital and Glilot Capital Partners.

Sola Security has developed an AI-powered no-code platform designed specifically for cybersecurity teams. The platform enables users to design, customise and deploy security tools in minutes, offering both a library of ready-made apps and a no-code studio for tailored development.

The new funding will be used to accelerate product development and expand adoption of its platform, which has already seen strong uptake in the months since the company emerged from stealth.

The idea for Sola Security came from frustration with the traditional cybersecurity model, where teams are often reliant on costly, siloed solutions that demand heavy engineering support. By contrast, Sola’s approach allows teams to quickly create bespoke tools without needing specialist coding expertise.

Since its launch from stealth in March 2025, more than 2,000 users have used Sola’s generative AI-powered tools to build over 1,000 custom applications. These span a wide range of use cases, from identity and access management to cloud security, compliance, and posture management.

This latest funding follows the company’s earlier seed round, which set the foundation for its platform and mission to simplify cybersecurity operations.
