Sweet Security, a provider of runtime CNAPP and AI security solutions, has raised $75m in a Series B funding round to accelerate its expansion and strengthen protection across cloud and AI environments.
The round was led by Evolution Equity Partners, with participation from Munich Re Ventures, Glilot Capital Partners, and Key1 Capital. This latest investment brings the company’s total funding to $120m and follows a year of strong growth for the cybersecurity innovator.
Founded to protect enterprises against evolving cloud threats, Sweet Security offers a unified runtime CNAPP platform that delivers real-time protection for cloud workloads, data, and applications. The company has also introduced new AI security features designed to safeguard models, agents, and the full AI lifecycle – extending its capabilities to the rapidly growing field of agentic AI.
The new capital will fuel Sweet Security’s global expansion and drive further product innovation as demand surges for solutions capable of securing both traditional and AI-powered production environments. The firm has seen rapid adoption, reporting a sixfold increase in annual recurring revenue and a tenfold rise in enterprise customers, including several Fortune 1000 companies.
Sweet’s leadership in runtime-first cloud protection is reinforced by a recently granted U.S. patent that covers innovations such as training large language models (LLMs) to detect anomalous log sessions. This breakthrough helps enterprises cut through security alert noise and identify complex, multi-step attacks that static, rule-based systems fail to catch.
Evolution Equity Partners founder and managing partner Richard Seewald said, “Sweet Security stands out in one of the most competitive segments of cybersecurity. The company’s ability to combine real-time cloud protection with AI-powered intelligence is unlike anything else in the market – redefining how enterprises secure the modern cloud and go about securing their AI environments.”
To meet the growing risks linked to agentic AI, Sweet has launched its AI Security Platform (AISP). This enables AI teams to map every model and agent, detect vulnerabilities, monitor real-time behaviour, and harden infrastructure without slowing development.
Sweet Security co-founder and CEO Dror Kashti said, “No one else approaches runtime cloud and AI protection the way we do. Cloud attacks no longer follow predictable patterns – they evolve dynamically, just like the AI systems enterprises are now building. Protecting those environments demands real-time understanding of how models, agents, and workloads behave – not static snapshots of configurations.”
James Berthoty of Latio Tech added, “Sweet Security has built a leading runtime cloud security offering, extending robust protection across cloud, data, workloads, and AI. This enables teams to secure both traditional and AI applications running in the cloud.”
Sweet’s success positions it at the forefront of the fast-emerging AI security market, redefining how enterprises safeguard next-generation cloud and agentic AI systems.
