500 startups is a global venture capital seed fund with more than $200m in assets under management. The firm have invested in more than 1,400 technology companies across the world since their launch in 2010.
500 Startups accelerator programs four times a year. Their 4-month seed program offers hands on sessions and office space to help entrepreneurs build their companies. The firm invest $150k in each company in exchange for 6% and charge $37.7k for participation. 500 Startups will invest $100-$250k in companies on their series A program, which offers all the perks of being a 500 company.
The firm looks for audacious, innovative, and disruptive founders and challenge themselves to also embody these qualities when supporting their companies through their seed fund and startup accelerator programs. In order to provide the best support the firm works to:
