Summary

Metra Digital Innovation (MDI) Ventures is Indonesia telecom operator Telkom’s venture arm, and focuses predominantly on early to mid stage companies in Asia. Although it’s closely associated with Telkom Indonesia, it is it’s own separate entity with it’s own funding processes. Founded just last year, the company is headquartered in Jakarta with operations in Singapore and Silicon Valley.

As of November 2016, MDI Ventures announced it’s ready to pour $100m in investment into global and domestic FinTech startups within the span of the next four years, with the aim to disburse $25m per annum.
