KYCP has announced a new brand identity, marking what the company describes as a significant milestone in its evolution and signalling its expanded role as a comprehensive compliance and risk-management platform.
The firm, which previously traded under the name KYC Portal, acknowledged that the market had come to associate its brand almost exclusively with traditional Know Your Customer (KYC) services. While KYC remains a core component of the platform, the underlying technology has grown considerably beyond its original scope, prompting the decision to rebrand.
The new name, KYCP, is intended to reflect the platform’s broader mission: enabling organisations to understand, assess, and manage the full spectrum of relationships, risks, and compliance processes across their business ecosystems. The acronym has been reframed to stand for “Know Your CounterParty”, a deliberate repositioning that signals the platform’s ability to assess all types of counterparties — not just customers.
The updated visual identity introduces a refined design system built around deep teal and crystal aqua tones, chosen to communicate trust, security, and technological sophistication. The logo has been restructured to separate the letters KY and CP across two lines, with the intention of breaking the platform’s automatic association with conventional KYC and reinforcing its expanded capabilities.
Alongside the visual overhaul, KYCP has launched a new website and domain aimed at improving user experience, boosting search visibility, and supporting the company’s growing digital presence. The revamped online journey is designed to make it easier for organisations to explore the full range of the platform’s capabilities.
KYCP founder and CEO Kristoff Zammit Ciantar said, “When we originally launched KYCPortal, the platform was focused primarily on KYC processes. Over the years it has evolved into something far more powerful. Today, KYCP supports organisations across multiple layers of compliance, risk management, and operational intelligence.
“The new brand reflects that evolution. ‘Know Your Counterpart’ captures the real purpose of the platform, helping businesses truly understand the entities they work with and manage risk with confidence.”
The rebrand was developed in partnership with brand strategy and creative agency Growth Gurus.

The rebrand also seeks to reinforce KYCP’s stated core values of integrity, innovation, and responsiveness, which the company says continue to guide its development as it broadens its offering and strengthens its position within the global compliance technology landscape.
With the new brand now live, KYCP says it aims to build greater global recognition, reduce market confusion around what the platform offers, and drive continued growth through an enhanced digital presence.
