Opoint, a leading provider of enriched news data solutions, has announced the appointment of Peter Ferrold as its new CEO.
Based in Copenhagen, Ferrold will officially step into the role on 11 August 2025, spearheading the company’s efforts in scaling operations, driving innovation, and accelerating international expansion.
The company specialises in providing real-time news data and media monitoring services tailored for sectors such as compliance, financial services, and media intelligence. Its data solutions are used globally to extract meaningful insights from the information overload in today’s media landscape.
Ferrold brings over two decades of commercial leadership experience across a range of sectors including compliance and legal tech, telecommunications, health tech, and professional services. His previous positions include chief sales officer at a prominent Danish legal technology SaaS scale-up, as well as senior sales and marketing roles where he managed large teams and oversaw revenues of up to 200m DKK.
His strategic acumen, combined with a people-focused leadership style, has consistently delivered results throughout his career—ranging from tenfold revenue increases to successful entries into European and US markets. He is also well-versed in organisational development and translating commercial strategies into measurable outcomes.
Ferrold holds a master’s degree in International Marketing & Management and a bachelor’s in Economics & Business Administration from Copenhagen Business School. He is also certified in organisational coaching and development.
