Spektr unveils next-gen compliance infrastructure

Spektr has launched spektr 2.0, a reimagined version of its platform aimed at transforming how compliance teams manage customer risk across the entire lifecycle.

The new product comes in response to growing customer demand for greater flexibility, transparency, and speed in compliance workflows. Over the past year, Spektr’s clients – including some of Europe’s most innovative FinTech firms – have been seeking more than incremental feature updates. They wanted the ability to reuse compliance logic in new ways, adapt rapidly to policy changes, and integrate AI to handle complex decision-making at scale.

Founded to address inefficiencies in compliance processes, Spektr initially delivered tools that helped automate decisions and manage KYC and KYB without the bottlenecks of manual checks. Its no-code, audit-ready setup enabled regulated institutions to deploy compliant processes in weeks instead of months, providing clarity and control in a historically neglected part of the technology stack.

Spektr 2.0 builds on that foundation, introducing a modular architecture and AI capabilities designed to power every stage of the customer lifecycle – from onboarding to ongoing monitoring and merchant reviews. The platform is split into two main components: an AI toolbox featuring a suite of specialised AI agents for specific compliance tasks, and Spektr modules, which allow users to build, customise, and connect workflows without replacing their existing infrastructure.

The AI agents go beyond static decision trees, evaluating data against defined intents and constraints while providing a clear rationale, linked policies, and data traces for every outcome. Users can override decisions, enabling the system to learn and adapt over time. Meanwhile, the modular system ensures workflows can be updated without disrupting live processes, giving compliance teams the ability to iterate rapidly and maintain operational stability.

Early adopters of spektr 2.0 are already using the platform to automate merchant onboarding, create adaptive risk policies, and streamline internal reviews with less code and overhead. The flexibility and extensibility of the system aim to match the pace and complexity of modern regulated businesses.

Spektr chief product officer Jeremy Joly said, “spektr 2.0 is built to change. You can version policies, test updates before going live, and introduce new logic without disrupting what’s already working. It’s infrastructure in the real sense: stable, extensible, and designed to adapt as you grow.”
