Wordwatch has appointed Mike Wardell as executive chairman of both Wordwatch and its sister company, BSL a specialist in customer contact and compliance solutions.
Wordwatch supports regulated organisations with a focus on communications archiving and compliance, while Business Systems Ltd delivers technology solutions that enhance customer contact operations. Together, the two companies serve a growing need for compliant, secure, and intelligent communications and data management tools.
Wardell, who previously served as CEO of Business Systems Ltd, has now transitioned into the executive chairman role for both organisations. He will focus on providing strategic counsel and leadership oversight, helping guide the long-term direction and evolution of both brands.
During his tenure as CEO, Wardell led the business through a period of rapid growth and played a pivotal role in establishing Wordwatch as a standalone compliance vendor in the financial services space. His leadership was also instrumental in scaling Business Systems and aligning the strategic vision across the two companies.
William Davenport will continue as managing director of Wordwatch. A founding member of the company, Davenport remains responsible for leading the global channel partner strategy and overseeing innovation within the compliance technology space. Meanwhile, Andrew Jacobs will stay on as managing director of Business Systems Ltd, driving forward innovation and strategic expansion in customer contact and compliance markets.
These leadership appointments mark a key moment for the two firms as they strengthen their positions within their respective industries.
