Xiid, a cybersecurity company specialising in zero knowledge networking, has secured new strategic funding in a multi-million-dollar round led by Ventura Capital.
The round included participation from Cohen Circle, whose cofounder Betsy Cohen praised Xiid’s approach to safeguarding sensitive financial platforms and information. The investment follows the company’s recent release of SealedTunnel™ 4.0 and adds to earlier backing, taking Xiid’s total funding to an eight-figure sum.
Based in the United States, Xiid develops technology designed to protect networks from both external and internal threats. Its flagship product, SealedTunnel, has received a Department of Defense Authority to Operate and has passed testing by the Air Force Research Laboratory at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. The evaluation confirmed the platform’s near invisibility and alignment with best practices set out by the Defence Information Systems Agency, providing military-grade security now being adopted across the financial sector.
The new funding will support Xiid’s efforts to expand adoption of its zero knowledge networking technology and accelerate growth. The company said Ventura’s involvement would provide additional momentum to deliver cybersecurity solutions capable of addressing emerging threats, including quantum-era risks.
Xiid has also secured partnerships with major businesses, such as Capgemini, to further strengthen its market position. Ventura Capital, which invests across defence technology, financial services and high-growth innovators, said the addition of Xiid to its portfolio reflects the strategic value of next-generation network protection.
Cohen Circle cofounder Betsy Cohen said, “Xiid’s bold vision addresses urgent gaps in protecting sensitive platforms and information for the entire financial ecosystem. Cohen Circle is excited to participate in Ventura’s Xiid funding, and we look forward to watching Xiid change the entire cybersecurity paradigm to deliver boundary-breaking, quantum-proof security.”
Ventura Capital founder and managing partner Mo El Husseiny said, “Secure remote access, data protection and safeguarding software intellectual property have never been more critical – and the immense potential of zero knowledge networking is coming into sharper focus every day. We are proud to support Xiid as they revolutionize network security. Ventura Capital sees immense strategic value adding Xiid to our portfolio, and strong alignment with the public sector.”
Xiid CEO Steve Visconti said, “We’re grateful for Ventura’s support. Their investment is a vote of confidence in our team and our mission. It gives us added momentum to continue our growth and deliver the level of cybersecurity organizations have been waiting for.”
The company’s latest raise builds on previous investor backing, bringing its total capital secured to an eight-figure sum.
