TitanFile gains funding boost from SEVA to scale operations

TitanFile, a secure file sharing and client collaboration platform for legal, financial, and government sectors, has secured its first institutional investment from growth equity firm SEVA.

The minority investment was made through SEVA I LP and marks a significant step in TitanFile’s journey as it continues to expand. Although the financial terms were not disclosed, SEVA has joined TitanFile’s board through its founder and managing partner, Shalin Mehta.

Founded in 2011, TitanFile offers a cloud-based solution enabling professionals in regulated industries to securely share confidential files and collaborate across teams and organisations. The platform is used widely by law firms, financial institutions, and government bodies, offering the simplicity of email with enterprise-grade security.

The new capital will be directed towards scaling TitanFile’s sales and marketing activities while also accelerating product development.

TitanFile CEO Tony Abou-Assaleh said, “This growth investment underscores our commitment to delivering unmatched customer value and being the best at secure file sharing and collaboration. With SEVA’s support, we’ll accelerate innovation to meet our clients’ evolving needs.”

Abou-Assaleh added, “We are excited to partner with Shalin and the rest of the SEVA team on TitanFile’s next stage of growth. SEVA is different from other growth equity partners given their hands-on, collaborative approach, deep understanding of our end market, and sole focus on serving high-growth, capital-efficient, founder-led businesses like TitanFile.”

SEVA managing partner Shalin Mehta said, “TitanFile is aptly representative of the fast-growing, customer-obsessed, self-sustaining business we look to partner with at SEVA.

“TitanFile’s end-to-end file sharing and client collaboration platform provides meaningful value to its customers in the legal, government, and financial services sectors. The Company’s proprietary platform enables professional service providers to exchange mission-critical communications with their clients and partners in a safe and secure manner. We look forward to working with Tony and his team to help build on TitanFile’s momentum.”
