AXA XL, a prominent provider of cyber insurance, has announced a strategic partnership with Fenix24, a global leader in ransomware response and recovery.

This collaboration is designed to offer enhanced cybersecurity assessment services to AXA XL’s cyber insurance clients throughout North America.

The alliance responds to the increasing demand for proactive cyber risk management solutions that go beyond traditional insurance coverage. By combining AXA XL’s expertise in cyber insurance with Fenix24’s specialised technical assessments, the partnership aims to improve organisations’ capabilities to prevent, withstand, and recover swiftly from cyberattacks, with a particular focus on ransomware threats.

AXA XL delivers customised cyber insurance solutions that assist companies in managing complex cyber risks by providing financial protection and risk mitigation support. On the other hand, Fenix24 is globally recognised for its ransomware response expertise, helping organisations recover rapidly from ransomware attacks and identify critical security vulnerabilities before incidents occur.

Under this partnership, AXA XL policyholders will have access to three specialised cybersecurity assessments developed by Fenix24. These assessments include the Ransomware Backup & Resiliency Assessment, which determines which systems and data will survive a ransomware attack and sets realistic recovery timelines; the Firewall Hardening Assessment, which identifies and remedies perimeter vulnerabilities; and the Active Directory Hardening Assessment, aimed at securing core identity systems and preventing privilege escalation.

These services are available to AXA XL clients at a discounted flat rate per assessment, an exclusive offer valid through 2025. This pricing structure encourages organisations to adopt stronger, proactive cybersecurity measures.

Gwenn Cujdik, AXA XL’s incident response and cyber services lead, said, “At AXA XL, we know cyber risk demands more than just a policy. By teaming up with Fenix24, we’re giving organisations powerful new tools to boost their defences, speed up recovery, and stay resilient against today’s cyber threats. This is about helping them stay resilient—no matter what comes their way.”

Mark Grazman, Fenix24 CEO and co-founder, added, “Operational resiliency is the new standard in cyber defence. Partnering with AXA XL allows us to bring battle-tested assessments to the frontlines, before an incident occurs, so we can help organisations close critical security gaps, reduce business risk, and bounce back faster if they’re ever hit.”
