Tebicom drives Swiss digitalisation with M-Files

Tebicom, a Switzerland-based digital services company, has been working with M-Files for over a decade, establishing itself as a leading integrator of the platform in the region.

Founded with just a small team, the company now employs 20 information specialists and was recognised as the M-Files EMEA Partner of the Year in 2023.

The company first partnered with M-Files in 2014, after conducting an extensive search for the most effective enterprise content management (ECM) system on the market. Its leadership found that M-Files stood out for its ability to support both their own document management needs and those of their clients.

Tebicom’s leaders remain enthusiastic about the benefits of being part of the M-Files Partner Program. Tebicom information management director Fares Kallel and senior business engineer Christian Bosson said that the solution consistently delivers strong value to clients. They added that M-Files integrates seamlessly with Microsoft 365 and the broader Microsoft ecosystem, making it a natural fit for many businesses.

The company operates exclusively in Western Switzerland, targeting sectors such as construction, professional services – particularly engineering and architecture firms – as well as public administration, including cities and local authorities. Tebicom works to help these industries modernise their information management and improve daily operations through digitalisation.

In addition to implementing M-Files, Tebicom supports clients with business analysis and change management resources. The firm also created its own exchange platform, tebifiles, powered by M-Files technology, which allows the integration of complex applications tailored to client needs.

Kallel and Bosson highlighted that one of M-Files’ biggest strengths is its user experience, noting that it offers a fun and engaging interface while regularly rolling out new features that keep it ahead of local competitors.

Automation and AI are also playing an increasingly critical role in the firm’s services. Tebicom leverages M-Files workflows to automate routine tasks for knowledge workers, while many of its employees rely on generative AI tools to boost productivity. The company is particularly focused on integrating generative AI into business-critical information and processes through solutions like M-Files Aino and Microsoft Copilot.
