HDI Global, a corporate and specialty insurer, has unveiled a new cyber insurance solution designed to provide faster, digital-first assessments for mid-market businesses.
The launch of the offering, known as Cyquins, comes as brokers and clients increasingly seek simpler and more streamlined cyber insurance workflows.
Traditional processes often involve lengthy questionnaires and complex underwriting steps, prompting HDI Global to develop a more efficient, cloud-based alternative for organisations with modern IT infrastructures.
Cyquins acts as an accelerated cyber risk assessment and insurance pathway for businesses operating largely on cloud-based systems.
The product begins with a read-only cloud scan, powered by cloud security provider Prowler, which is compatible with all major cloud environments.
The scan requires no software installation and provides a clear report within roughly ten minutes, outlining risk scores and prioritised recommendations in accessible language.
HDI Global noted that through the solution, clients retain full control of their data, as all scan information remains within their own environment unless they choose to submit the report to request an insurance offer.
Once submitted, organisations can receive an individual insurance proposal within 48 hours during business days, with coverage available up to €10m. For brokers, Cyquins offers a reduced administrative burden and an improved engagement process.
