Diginex, a sustainability and RegTech software provider listed on Nasdaq, has appointed Lubomila Jordanova as CEO.

Diginex provides software solutions that help businesses and governments manage sustainability, regulatory and supply chain data. Its platform focuses on ESG reporting, compliance and analytics, supporting organisations in navigating complex regulatory requirements while improving transparency across global operations.

The company positions itself at the intersection of sustainability technology and RegTech, offering tools that connect regulatory reporting with actionable sustainability insights.

Lubomila Jordanova is the founder and former CEO of Plan A.earth GmbH, a European carbon accounting and decarbonisation platform that was recently acquired by Diginex. As CEO of Diginex, she will lead the company’s global strategy, with a focus on strengthening its integrated sustainability and RegTech offering and accelerating execution across Europe and other key markets.

Jordanova is widely recognised as a leader in sustainability technology and climate strategy, with experience across entrepreneurship, finance and policy advisory roles. Under her leadership, Plan A scaled rapidly across Europe, forming partnerships with organisations such as Visa and building a client base that includes BMW, Chloé and more than 1,500 companies worldwide.

She has also served on advisory bodies for the European Investment Bank, WEPA and Satgana, and has a background in investment banking and venture capital across Asia and Europe.

She has received several industry and leadership accolades, including being named an Obama Europe Leader, MIT Innovator Under 35 Europe, Marshall Fund Fellow, and Top 50 Women Entrepreneurs in Germany by Handelsblatt. She has also featured in Forbes 30 Under 30 and Capital 50 Under 50.

As part of the leadership transition, Mark Blick has stepped down as CEO and will continue to support Diginex as a strategic advisor. Blick led the company through its Nasdaq listing in January 2025 and oversaw a period of significant growth and strategic acquisitions.

During his tenure, Diginex achieved a 293% increase in revenue and established relationships with global organisations including HSBC, Coca-Cola and Fitch Ratings. These developments positioned the firm within a global sustainability software market projected to reach $80–100bn by 2030.

The acquisition of Plan A further strengthens Diginex’s ability to deliver integrated solutions that combine sustainability reporting with data-driven emissions reduction strategies, supporting its ambition to become one of the world’s leading sustainability technology firms.

Diginex chairman Miles Pelham said, “This transition marks an exciting new chapter for Diginex as we deepen our global footprint and accelerate our integrated platform strategy. Mark’s visionary leadership has been instrumental in the Diginex IPO, scaling our RegTech solutions, and executing our M&A-driven growth. We are grateful for his continued contributions as a Strategic Advisor, where his expertise will support Lubomila and the team during this pivotal phase.”

Diginex chairman Miles Pelham said, “Ms. Jordanova brings extensive experience in carbon accounting, decarbonization strategy, and sustainability regulations, complementing Diginex’s existing capabilities in ESG reporting across 19 global frameworks, supply chain transparency, and AI-driven analytics. Her appointment is expected to enhance the Company’s ability to deliver end-to-end solutions that link regulatory compliance, value-chain emissions tracking, and actionable decarbonization pathways, particularly in response to evolving EU directives and global demand for verifiable sustainability data.”

Diginex CEO Lubomila Jordanova said, “I am honored to lead Diginex at this transformative moment. As Diginex accelerates its expansion across Europe and executes a focused M&A strategy, we are moving beyond simple data tracking towards building a true Sustainability RegTech powerhouse. By leveraging the collective strengths of the Diginex portfolio, we are transforming complex regulatory requirements into a sustainable competitive advantage that positions compliance as a strategic driver of growth and enterprise value.”

Former Diginex CEO Mark Blick said, “It has been a privilege to guide Diginex from its early days to its current position as a dynamic force in Sustainability RegTech. I am excited to support Lubomila and the team in an advisory capacity as the Company enters its next phase of growth.”
