High Risk Education has launched the HRE FinTech Training Center, a new on-demand training and resource platform designed to help teams navigate rising regulatory scrutiny and operational complexity.
The new platform has been introduced in response to what the company describes as a persistent gap in the market. After years of working alongside fintech founders, operators and compliance teams, High Risk Education found that many organisations struggle not because they disregard regulation, but because regulatory and partner expectations are not clearly defined in real-world fintech operating environments.
The Fintech Training Center aims to bridge that divide by translating complex regulatory obligations into practical and defensible execution.
High Risk Education works with fintech firms and sponsor banks to strengthen governance, risk management and compliance programmes.
Its focus spans regulatory readiness, bank partnership oversight and operational resilience, with an emphasis on aligning leadership teams and boards with evolving supervisory expectations. The company positions itself as a guide for firms scaling quickly while maintaining robust controls.
The HRE Fintech Training Center delivers practitioner-led content structured across four dedicated learning tracks: board-level training, management and practitioner training, annual training for fintech employees, and sponsor bank training.
The curriculum covers a broad range of areas, including governance and fiduciary oversight, partner-bank and banking-as-a-service oversight, AML and fraud risk, payments risk, operational resilience, product governance, AI and data risk, regulatory exam readiness, leadership alignment and scaling without weakening internal controls.
Beyond structured training modules, members gain access to downloadable operating tools and templates intended to support day-to-day compliance execution. The platform also includes a feature called Ask the Fintech Life Coach, which connects teams with experienced practitioners who can provide practical, real-world guidance grounded in operational fintech experience.
The launch reflects growing pressure on fintech firms and their bank partners to demonstrate clear governance frameworks and defensible compliance programmes, particularly as supervisory bodies increase their focus on third-party risk, BaaS arrangements and emerging technologies such as AI.
High Risk Education CEO & Co-Founder Justin Muscolino said, “Fintech teams don’t need more theory, they need more clarity on how regulators and bank partners expect them to operate. The Fintech Training Center was built to help teams build defensible programs, strengthen partnerships, and avoid issues before they become findings, enforcement actions, or broken relationships.”
