Kreios has entered into a cooperation agreement with the Association of the Luxembourg Fund Industry (ALFI), the country’s main fund industry body, to accelerate the digital transformation of operational and regulatory compliance across Luxembourg’s financial sector.
The initiative will see ALFI’s industry expertise translated into practical digital rules within Kreios’ REGMATIX platform, enabling firms to apply regulatory guidance more efficiently and at greater scale. The first phase will focus on integrating ALFI’s guidance on the PRIIPs Key Information Document (KID) into REGMATIX, with additional areas to be incorporated at a later stage.
Through the platform, firms will be able to validate documents against established industry best practice in a more systematic and auditable manner, enhancing consistency, tightening oversight and reducing dependence on manual checking processes. The solution is intended to function as an independent control layer that is compatible with firms’ existing production environments and operating models.
Kreios provides regulatory oversight technology through its REGMATIX platform, which transforms regulatory and industry guidance into scalable, rule-based digital controls. The platform supports asset managers and fund companies in applying compliance requirements in a structured, transparent and automated way.
The partnership represents a broader push towards a modernised compliance model for the fund industry — one that draws on rule-based automation and responsible use of artificial intelligence whilst retaining human judgement in the process.
ALFI chief executive Serge Weyland said: “ALFI’s role is to help the Luxembourg fund industry remain competitive, trusted and future-ready. The initiative reflects our commitment to connecting expertise and fostering innovation across the Luxembourg fund ecosystem. By making our expertise more accessible in operational environments such as Kreios’ REGMATIX platform, we enable the consistent and scalable application of industry best practices. This, in turn, strengthens Luxembourg’s position as a quality-focused, forward-looking and innovative fund domicile.”
Kreios CEO Ulf Herbig said: “True innovation in regulation means turning expert knowledge into scalable, auditable controls. REGMATIX is designed to transform trusted industry guidance into practical, usable controls for firms. Our role is to help make that expertise operational in a way that supports consistency, transparency and responsible use of AI-enabled automation.”
