Regnology wins KfW migration to next-gen reporting hub

KfW Bankengruppe has deepened its relationship with Regnology by choosing to migrate to the company’s next-generation Regnology Reporting Hub (RRH).

The migration will see KfW move to RRH, a cloud-native solution hosted on Regnology’s Rcloud infrastructure — an architecture layer built on Google Cloud that was launched in 2023. The platform is designed to deliver elastic scalability, greater resilience, continuous updates, and the flexibility required to keep pace with shifting supervisory demands. For KfW, the move is intended to secure high-availability service and ensure consistent regulatory reporting performance in line with its digitalisation and data strategies.

KfW is a Frankfurt-based public-law institution with a mandate to drive sustainable economic, social, and ecological development across Germany, Europe, and international markets.

Regnology reports that more than 80% of its client base now operates on Rcloud infrastructure, a figure the company says reflects growing industry momentum towards cloud-native regulatory operations. The firm positions this adoption rate as evidence of its lead in driving efficiency and resilience across the sector, and as a foundation for what it describes as the next phase of AI-enabled and agentic regulatory workflows.

Regnology chief revenue officer Maciej Piechocki said, “Our longstanding partnership with KfW is a testament to the trust they place in us. Their move to our cloud-native RRH is a key enabler of our shared journey forward. We don’t just see the cloud as infrastructure; we see it as the bedrock for the AI-driven transformation that will give our clients a decisive strategic advantage.”

KfW head of IT department Christoph Johnscher said, “Regnology’s cloud-native RRH solution provides a modern, secure foundation for our regulatory reporting. Migrating to an architecture delivered on Rcloud ensures we remain operationally resilient while meeting evolving supervisory expectations on Regulatory Reporting. The opportunities that come with using Rcloud strongly support KfW’s digitalization and data strategies.”
