AutoRek, the regulatory-grade financial controls and reconciliation software provider, has unveiled a significant upgrade to AutoRek ARIA, its intelligence engine, as appetite for AI-driven financial controls gathers pace across the industry.
The enhanced release is designed to cut manual workloads, speed up configuration and reinforce governance, allowing financial institutions to scale automated reconciliation without sacrificing the oversight demanded in regulated environments.
Among the new capabilities are automated rule generation for complex matching scenarios, configuration of routine reconciliations in under 30 minutes, broader pattern recognition to limit manual investigation, upgraded oversight dashboards offering real-time control visibility, and stronger explainability to underpin audit and regulatory review.
The engine has racked up notable results since its debut in September 2025. Clients have achieved automated match rates reaching 99.99%, alongside a 95% drop in the hours spent assessing manual matches and a 90% to 95% cut in the time needed to build new match rules. That client impact has fed back into faster product development, with the newest version automating more complex workflows and helping institutions run operations more efficiently.
AutoRek provides a regulatory-grade intelligence engine, AutoRek ARIA, focused on reconciliation and financial controls for financial institutions operating in regulated markets.
The company’s momentum has also drawn external recognition. In June 2026, the FTF News Technology Innovation Awards named AutoRek Best Reconciliation Solution, pointing to AutoRek ARIA’s role in improving accuracy, speed and control across capital markets operations.
AutoRek CEO Chris Livesey said, “Financial institutions are under pressure to operate faster, with greater accuracy and stronger oversight. AutoRek ARIA brings regulatory‑grade intelligence to one of the most operationally intensive areas of finance. This release represents a step‑change in how firms can automate reconciliation at scale while maintaining the transparency and governance regulators expect.”
A global asset management client of AutoRek said, “Before AutoRek ARIA, configuring a new reconciliation could take weeks and required specialist support. Now our team is setting up straightforward processes in under 30 minutes — and we’ve maintained the same level of control throughout.”
