inforcer, a unified Microsoft security and AI management platform designed for Managed Service Providers (MSPs), has closed a $50m Series C round headed by global software investor Insight Partners.
The round arrives after two years of swift international expansion, fuelled by MSPs seeking ways to standardise, protect and generate revenue from Microsoft 365 and AI services at scale. Such momentum has seen inforcer complete its Series A, B and C rounds within just 18 months.
Insight Partners has taken a minority stake alongside existing backers Meritech Capital and Dawn Capital, drawing on its portfolio experience across cloud, security and infrastructure firms such as Kaseya, Veeam, SentinelOne, Darktrace, Mimecast and Wiz.
With MSPs increasingly supplying Microsoft security, compliance and AI-centred services to small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), demand for a scalable, multi-tenant control plane has intensified. inforcer positions itself as the platform on which MSPs can consolidate their Microsoft 365 security and AI operations.
The company argues that SMB spending on AI and security is climbing, and that MSPs face competitive pressure to reinvent themselves as AI service providers. Its Copilot Manager and Shadow AI detection tools offer providers an initial route into running a repeatable Managed AI service at scale.
At the same time, inforcer warns that AI is slashing the skill barrier to cybercrime, compressing attack timelines and enabling far more convincing phishing and business email compromise campaigns, leaving SMBs exposed to threats that are more automated and harder to repel than ever.
To counter this, inforcer has broadened its platform with Threat Detection & Response (inforcer TDR), built to help MSPs quickly spot human and AI-enhanced threats, contain breaches and stop attacks recurring across large SMB estates. The firm describes itself as the first platform to unify Microsoft management with both left and right of boom security, giving MSPs an end-to-end, AI-enhanced management experience that improves operational efficiency, reduces risk and reshapes their unit economics.
