Hackuity secures $19m as vulnerability crisis deepens

Hackuity

Hackuity, the AI-powered Vulnerability Operations Centre provider, has closed a $19m funding round as enterprises race to keep pace with an AI-fuelled surge in security flaws.

The round was led by Forgepoint Capital International, with existing backers Bright Pixel, Bpifrance and Seventure Partners also taking part. The raise lifts Hackuity’s total funding to $38m and will be channelled into product development, expanded AI capabilities and further expansion across Europe and Asia.

The investment lands as the security industry confronts what the company describes as a vulnerability tsunami. AI-driven scanning tools are now surfacing flaws at a pace defenders cannot match: Anthropic’s Claude Mythos Preview reportedly flagged more than 10,000 high or critical severity issues in under two months, with 99% still left unpatched.

At the same time, the pool of known Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures has swollen to 350,000, a rise of 20% on the previous year, leaving security teams struggling to work out which findings actually matter and how to act on them before attackers do.

Hackuity’s platform is designed to turn that overwhelming volume of fragmented findings into a prioritised, coordinated remediation process. It pulls data from more than 130 security tools, layers in business and threat context for every finding, and helps security, IT and engineering teams work from the same picture so effort goes towards the vulnerabilities that carry genuine business risk.

A proprietary scoring engine sits at the centre of the system, weighing severity, exploitability, threat intelligence, asset criticality and business impact to decide what gets fixed first. Hackuity says the approach has helped customers cut critical vulnerability noise to just 0.01%, triple their mean time to remediate, automate up to 70% of exposure management work and generate savings running into six or seven figures.

Global organisations including ENGIE and BPCE already use the platform to manage cyber exposure, and Hackuity has built out a network of systems integrators, resellers and managed security service providers, including Orange Cyberdefense, to extend its reach among enterprise customers.

Hackuity CEO and co-founder Patrick Ragaru said, “Hackuity was founded on a simple conviction: the volume of vulnerabilities would outpace any human’s capacity to respond. Mythos simply validates that thesis, by making the scale of the tsunami impossible to ignore.

“Having Forgepoint, a globally recognized cybersecurity investor with unmatched sector expertise and a truly global network, lead this round is a strong signal that the market agrees. What we built before the wave arrived is exactly what enterprises need now that it’s here: an agentic platform that automates prioritization and drives remediation at machine speed.”
