MIND, the AI-native data loss prevention (DLP) platform, has closed a $72m Series B funding round to help enterprises protect sensitive data as artificial intelligence reshapes how that data moves and is accessed.
The round was led by Crosspoint Capital Partners, with participation from existing backers YL Ventures and Paladin Capital Group. It arrives just a year after MIND’s $30m Series A and takes the company’s total funding to $112m.
Over the past 12 months, MIND has grown revenue more than 17-fold and its customer base eightfold, while analysing billions of data events in real time across GenAI, agentic AI and IT environments and preventing sensitive data loss across hundreds of thousands of endpoints.
The company recently launched its MIND AI DLP Agents, designed to autonomously handle the day-to-day running of a DLP programme. MIND also became the first data security company accepted into Anthropic’s Cyber Verification Programme and the first to achieve ISO/IEC 42001 certification for responsible AI.
MIND’s platform is built to give organisations complete visibility and control over sensitive information. It discovers sensitive data across SaaS, GenAI, agentic AI, endpoints, on-premise file shares and email, then classifies it using both content and context through its multi-layer AI classification engine.
From there, the platform detects risky data activity with context-aware intelligence that filters out noise and cuts false positives, remediates exposure and security issues autonomously to reduce manual investigation, and prevents data loss through policy-driven controls that can block risky activity in real time or guide users toward safer behaviour.
The raise lands as AI adoption accelerates faster than the data controls meant to govern it. While 90% of enterprises have deployed GenAI tools and more than two-thirds are using AI agents, 65% say they lack confidence in their AI data security controls, and one in five AI initiatives fails because of weak data foundations. MIND intends to use the new capital to accelerate development of its “Stress Free DLP” platform, expand into key enterprise markets, deepen technology and channel partnerships, and grow its team to meet rising demand.
MIND co-founder and CEO Eran Barak said, “Security leaders are being asked to protect data that moves at AI speed with complex, manual and incomplete tools designed for a slower world. DLP is a massive, established market, but it was not built with AI in mind. AI is accelerating the problem, giving people and autonomous systems new ways to access and move sensitive data at unparalleled speed. It also gives us the technology to reinvent how that data is protected.
“We believe this is the moment to redefine DLP and build MIND as the leader in data security for the AI era. In less than two years since emerging from stealth, we’ve built an eight-figure revenue business trusted by dozens of customers. Our results, and this funding, put MIND among a select group of cybersecurity companies scaling at this pace, but what matters most is how this will accelerate our growth and bring Stress Free DLP to every enterprise working to achieve AI governance and security.”
