Reach Security, an AI-driven platform that runs enterprise security defences at machine speed, has secured more than $50m in a Series B round headed by Top Tier Capital Partners, and has also introduced a new offering called Reach Everywhere.
Ballistic Ventures, In-Q-Tel, M12, Microsoft’s Venture Fund and existing backers also joined the raise. The capital will go towards product development, broader integration partnerships, expansion overseas and further growth across the US enterprise and federal sectors.
The deal lands as companies increasingly deploy AI on the defensive side, and Reach has doubled its client count over the last year. Autodesk, Insurity, MPS and Ensemble Health Partners are among the organisations using the platform.
The investment reflects a widening gap between how quickly attackers move and how quickly defenders react. AI has cut the cost and time of uncovering vulnerabilities, yet VulnCheck’s State of Exploitation 1H-2026 report showed fewer than 1.3% are actually exploited in the wild.
Meanwhile, CrowdStrike’s 2026 Global Threat Report recorded an 89% jump in AI-enabled adversary activity, with breakout times falling to as little as 27 seconds. AI is also linking exploits together into attack paths that have not previously been observed.
Reach tackles this by examining the live settings of security tools a business already runs, establishing whether a given exploit path is blocked or still open, and pinpointing the specific rule responsible.
If that protection weakens, the platform can fix it straight away. It ranks work according to which exposures are genuinely reachable and which are already covered, autonomously reviews and adjusts every control so teams can absorb rising attack volumes without hiring more staff, and seals entry points used by adversaries or by AI agents a customer has turned on its own environment.
Reach Everywhere pushes these control insights into the places where security decisions are made, including exposure management programmes, security operations centres, incident response workflows, compliance platforms and frontier AI-powered security tools. It does so via the Reach API, an MCP server and a growing partner ecosystem, allowing teams to reprioritise backlogs or tune controls without switching tools.
A key early use case is helping exposure management teams deal with vulnerabilities that cannot be patched as quickly as AI now surfaces them. Reach locates, verifies and continuously tracks compensating controls, supplying evidence that they are deployed, up to date, enforcing policy and positioned in the correct attack path.
Where a change is safe, the platform routes it through ServiceNow, Jira or its own staged automation, testing it in a controlled setting before it goes live. An independent ROI study by TAG Infosphere found users saved over 160 hours a week across control review, posture assessment and incident investigation, achieving a 156% return that grows each time the control environment shifts.
Reach Security positions itself as the trusted source of truth for enterprise security controls. Using deterministic AI, the company continuously discovers, analyses, validates and optimises controls, helping organisations map attack paths, lower risk and demonstrate that protections work as designed.
Its API and MCP server also give AI systems access to live, validated control health data in place of stale inventories, exports or inferred information, so that decisions rest on how controls are actually performing.
Reach Security CEO and co-founder Garrett Hamilton said, “What is old is new again in security. AI has given attackers better economics and a lower barrier to entry, but it has also given defenders a chance to use their home field advantage more than ever. Defending at enterprise scale requires an accurate understanding of what your defenses are actually doing.
“You can’t afford to get that wrong. That’s why a source of truth for your security controls matters so much: which ones are reducing exposure, which ones are falling short, and which ones can do more. That clarity is valuable to customers and to our joint integration partners.”
Reach Security co-founder and CTO Colt Blackmore added, “A compensating control that cannot be verified is not a mitigation. It’s an assumption. At human scale, incorrect assumptions create inefficiency.
“At machine scale, they create risk. Whether decisions are made by analysts, automation platforms or AI agents, the underlying truth about security control health must remain consistent, accurate and continuously validated. Our vision is to provide a trusted source of truth for security controls that makes those systems reliable, effective and safe to operate.”
