CodeAnt AI, an AI-powered software development platform, has secured $2m in seed funding to revolutionise code review and improve software quality and security.
The funding round was led by Y Combinator, VitalStage Ventures, and Uncorrelated Ventures, with participation from DeVC, Transpose Platform, Entrepreneur First and several notable angel investors. The round values the company at $20m and marks its first institutional raise.
CodeAnt AI is tackling one of the growing pain points in modern software engineering—manual code review. As AI accelerates code writing, human bottlenecks in reviewing that code have become increasingly problematic. The platform automates peer review using AI, delivering instant feedback and security insights across more than 30 programming languages.
The fresh capital will be used to grow CodeAnt AI’s engineering and business development teams and scale its platform to more enterprise clients. The company plans to further refine its proprietary language-agnostic AST engine, which understands code structure across different programming languages, offering one-click fixes for code issues and vulnerabilities.
CodeAnt AI integrates seamlessly with platforms like GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, and Azure DevOps.
