BreachRx, a San Francisco-based cybersecurity company, has developed the first intelligent incident response platform designed to support entire enterprise operations during cyber crises.
The company has raised $15m in an oversubscribed Series A funding round led by Ballistic Ventures. Additional backing came from SYN Ventures, Overline, and Silver Buckshot Ventures.
As part of the investment, Ballistic Ventures general partner and former Mandiant CEO Kevin Mandia joins BreachRx’s board of directors, with cybersecurity journalist and author Nicole Perlroth appointed as board observer.
BreachRx offers a secure and centralised platform to coordinate cybersecurity incident response across an organisation. Its technology automates the development of tailored incident response plans and enables cross-functional collaboration in real time. The system clearly outlines stakeholder responsibilities and timelines, improving response clarity and efficiency across teams.
With the new funding, BreachRx plans to expand its go-to-market and engineering teams to drive further product innovation and market adoption.
The announcement follows a strong period of growth for the company, which reported more than 3x year-on-year ARR growth for the second year running. BreachRx now serves over 100 customers, including Fortune 500 firms across financial services, technology, healthcare, and critical infrastructure sectors.
