Cybersecurity platform ClearVector secures $13m Series A to scale identity-driven defence

Cybersecurity company ClearVector, which specialises in identity-driven security solutions for complex production environments, has raised $13m in a Series A funding round.

The round was led by Scale Venture Partners, with additional participation from Okta Ventures, Inner Loop Capital, and existing backer Menlo Ventures.

ClearVector focuses on detecting and stopping cyber threats by analysing runtime identity activity across cloud and hybrid environments, including human, machine, third-party, and AI identities. Rather than relying on traditional threat intelligence, which often struggles to keep up with the speed and complexity of modern adversaries, ClearVector tracks behavioural patterns in real time to identify and neutralise threats.

The ClearVector platform leverages a purpose-built graph containing billions of nodes and edges to connect activities across fragmented environments. This allows organisations to detect subtle threat paths, such as when a compromised GitHub account leads to malicious code deployment via CI/CD pipelines.
