RelyComply, an AI-powered RegTech, has been selected for the ninth cohort of Grow London Global, a programme supporting businesses looking to expand into international markets as the company plans its next stage of growth.
Delivered by London & Partners with backing from the Mayor of London, Grow London Global helps businesses pursue overseas opportunities by connecting them with investors, enterprise buyers and fellow founders. RelyComply will use the programme to explore potential markets and assess where to direct its international expansion efforts.
The selection builds on the company’s established global presence, with its platform already serving regulated organisations in 15 countries. The programme provides an opportunity to build on that reach and identify further markets for growth.
The latest cohort launched with an induction event at Banking Hall in London last week. Participants met investors, enterprise buyers and alumni from previous cohorts, with discussions covering the challenges of entering unfamiliar markets, setting up local operations and meeting the expectations of large corporate customers.
RelyComply head of sales Alex Bain attended the event on behalf of the company. Enterprise buyers shared insights into the challenges technology providers face when pursuing corporate customers, highlighting integration, procurement and change management as some of the most demanding stages of the process.
The discussions also emphasised the importance of involving security teams early and demonstrating tangible value, even when a proof of concept does not lead to a wider deployment. These factors can shape how technology businesses approach enterprise sales and prepare their solutions for adoption across different regions.
For RegTech providers serving regulated organisations, these considerations are particularly relevant. Customers must account for security requirements, complex operations and compatibility with their existing technology infrastructure when evaluating new solutions.
RelyComply’s platform is built to integrate with systems already in use by its clients, helping address technical integration challenges and demonstrate value early in the relationship. Through Grow London Global, the company expects to gain further connections and market insights to inform its international growth strategy.
Over the next year, the programme is expected to help RelyComply explore opportunities in additional territories while supporting customers as they expand internationally. The company will need to build on its existing presence across 15 countries while adapting to the requirements of enterprise buyers in each market.
