Guardz secures $56m funding to grow unified cyber platform

Guardz, a cybersecurity company focused on serving Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and IT professionals, has raised $56m in Series B funding.

The company offers an AI-native, unified platform designed to help protect small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) from cyber threats.

The Series B round was led by ClearSky, with new participation from Phoenix Financial and continued backing from existing investors including Glilot Capital Partners, SentinelOne, Hanaco Ventures, iAngels, GKFF Ventures, Lumir and others. This latest funding brings Guardz’s total investment to $84m in just over two years.

Guardz offers a comprehensive cybersecurity platform that allows MSPs to secure SMB clients across all digital touchpoints, including identities, email, endpoints, cloud and data. With cyberattacks becoming more sophisticated and SMBs increasingly targeted, Guardz aims to alleviate the burden on MSPs who are often forced to juggle disparate and fragmented tools.

The newly secured funds will be used to accelerate Guardz’s expansion in the US market, invest further in R&D, and enhance the next generation of its cybersecurity platform. Enhancements will include more advanced automation, expanded risk prevention features, and added capabilities in cyber compliance and insurance for SMBs.

Since emerging from stealth in early 2023, Guardz has rapidly scaled, onboarding hundreds of MSP partners and now safeguarding thousands of businesses globally. Its AI-native platform includes 24/7 Managed Detection and Response (MDR), expert-led threat hunting, and integrations with Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace to proactively monitor and mitigate risks like account takeovers.

Guardz CEO and co-founder Dor Eisner said, “This funding propels Guardz forward in our mission to bring enterprise-level cybersecurity to SMBs, and to continue to empower MSPs with unified security controls and automated detection and response. MSPs are the first line of defense for these organizations – the engine of the global economy – and we are excited to continue providing them with our best-in-class platform, to ensure that businesses are not only secured and insured, but can thrive.”

ClearSky managing partner Alex Weiss said, “Guardz has built an exceptional solution that directly addresses a critical and underserved need in the market at a very exciting time for technology. Their AI-native approach, seamless integrations, and relentless focus on the MSP ecosystem has led to rapid growth and uniquely positions them to continue to lead this space. We are proud to support Guardz as they scale their impact and set a new standard for cybersecurity in this critical segment of the economy.”
