2026 has been a red-letter year for AiPrise. The company has grown powerfully over the past year and is showing no sign of slowing down. What is driving such stellar growth? According to Chaitanya Sarda, CEO at AiPrise, the key watchword for growth has been an increase in customers.
According to Sarda, he believes AiPrise is becoming well known in the industry as the top KYB provider, Secondly, he stresses the company is seeing significant growth within its customer base, with the company also expanding massively into different geographies.
A further driver of growth has been significant product developments by the company in recent months. An example given by Sarda is the launch of five new AI agents to help the firm’s customers onboard faster.
He explained, “AI agents are one of the most automation-driving factors today. These are AI agents taking in a website and doing everything possible to understand if this is a genuine website or a fraud website.
The company has also unveiled an AML agent. With a lot of false positives occurring, the firm said that when it has trialed its agent, it finds a lot of those false positives automatically. Additionally, it launched Athena, its star agent which is focused on business review.
“It takes in around 800 different data points on any business and gives you a very clear decision on should I onboard or not,” quipped Sarda.”
Elsewhere, AiPrise heavily expanded its e-KYC solution. At the beginning of 2026, it was available in 30 countries. Now, the technology has expanded to around 90 countries by the near close of the year.
The expanding reach
A key contemplation for AiPrise is with its expanding reach, what regions are now covered by the firm’s data and what does this unlock for the businesses customers?
AiPrise now covers the entirety of Europe, with Sarda detailing that regions like the UK, France, Germany and the Nordic countries were already covered, but the firm has now reached into areas such as Finland, Slovenia, Czechia and Slovakia.
The second expansion that AiPrise has done is across Latin America. “We now have e-KYC coverage in Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, and many other countries in Latin America,” said Sarda.
The next generation of KYB
A question facing the financial industry right now is what the next generation of Know Your Business looks like. For Sarda, the last decade and the next decade will both be known for explosions in both KYC and KYB.
He elaborated, “I feel that the last 10 years has been a KYC explosion. A lot of successful large businesses came out of it, and the next five-to-ten years will be all about KYB explosion.”
The AiPrise CEO explained that the next generation of KYB is real-time, fast, automated, finds fraud at the onboarding stage and can verify businesses on a continuous basis, as well as determining who owns the business very clearly.
“Everything which is very tedious about KYB today will be automated in the next one year, and I think we at AiPrise are at the forefront of that automation,” Sarda said.
Reliable business data
How close are we are to truly global access to reliable business data? This won’t be the first time such a question is asked. For Sarda, such a world is coming, and coming soon.
He said, “We have seen a lot of countries in the last three-to-four years make their databases online. Around 75% of countries already have a live registry with data inside, and we will connect with them.”
Whilst 75% is considerable, it is still not fully global. However, Sarda is clear in his belief that the remaining 25% will be online maybe in the next two-to-five years.
“We have seen massive improvements in database corporate connections and availability of it, and this is just only going to get better from here,’ he remarked.
The role of Pre-fill
This summer, AiPrise launched Business Pre-fill, a product built to shrink lengthy business onboarding forms down to two fields.
Could Pre-fill turn KYB from a data entry exercise into a verification process? Here, Sarda details the massive interest in the Pre-fill product from the company’s customers.
He said, “A typical KYB form is around sixty different questions, twenty of them are yes or no questions but forty of them are rudimentary. They focus on ownership, year of establishment, how many employees, what’s your website. These are things you can find from a registry or from online research.
“Our Pre-fill has saved those and helps you build customer trust. It has helped our customers save anywhere between ten-to-fifteen minutes per customer, especially in countries where there is a lot of due diligence requirements.”
Where AI comes in – and can’t
Where does Sarda think you could genuinely automate KYB today, and where does the human-in-the-loop remain supreme?
On the former point, the AiPrise CEO is clear in his view that he thinks document has been fully automated.
“I feel whatever you want to extract from the document, whatever you verify from the document, at AiPrise we have fully automated this process,” Sarda said. Whilst websites still need a bit of a human judgement, he believes this will be automated within the next four-to-six months.
Where he still sees a manual future for now is surrounding the overall decisions for companies. Whilst documents individually may be automated and websites can be automated soon, understanding whether it all fits together well will take more time to automate in the view of Sarda.
He explained, “Today, we see around 40-60% automation rates with some of our tech-forward companies, and it also depends on the risk factor that your company is going to take. However, I think the average stays around 30% The best ones that have 40 to 60% of automation may hit 70-75%, but it will still be manual when it comes to more complex companies onboarding.”
How to differentiate KYB providers
A key question being asked in the RegTech space right now is what industry leaders think will differentiate KYB providers as more of the process becomes automated.
For Sarda, the entirety of the secret sauce will be surrounding what data is being fed for this automation.
He said, “If you do a very simple web scrape, most websites will look okay to you, but it’s things behind the scenes that matters. What is the traffic on this website? Who are they affiliated with? Is it a copy of another website? The KYB providers – which will have the best data paired with the best AI – will win the future.”
This last line is why Sarda is heavily confident on AiPrise’s role in the future. As he states, the company has not only built AI agents but has spent a lot of time finding real data and connecting it to its systems. “We are very confident we will be one of the top vendors for KYB,” he said.
The future for AiPrise
What is on the horizon for AiPrise? Sarda detailed that the company has a ‘very big’ launch coming in November but couldn’t expand further.
However, beyond the big news, the company’s mission going forward centers around making KYB more known across the wider financial sector.
He said, “AiPrise wants to make KYB very colloquial. What I mean by that is that we’re going to have the best data, we’re going to have the best listening platform, the best KYC data. Whatever makes our KYB systems better, we’re going to focus on that.”
In the next two years, Sarda claims the company’s offering will evolve into a decisioning platform.
“We are seeing that customers are also unsure how to verify a business outside the country they are from,” said Sarda. “If, for example, I am a cross-border payments company based in London and had to onboard a business in Argentina, most of the time our customers don’t know the right way to onboard a customer in Argentina.
“So, we are building a pre-templatised version of the right KYB protocol and the right KYB data to collect to verify in each country, and we want to releasee that to the public to free.”
