Jean-Marie Mamodesen joins Droit to lead European growth

Droit, a technology firm specialising in computational law and regulatory decision automation, has appointed RegTech veteran Jean-Marie Mamodesen as regional sales director.

In his new role, Mamodesen will focus on accelerating business growth and supporting client relationships across Continental Europe, joining the team in London.

The company develops regulatory decisioning and control solutions that help financial institutions manage complex, evolving obligations across global markets. Droit’s Trade and Transaction Reporting product, powered by its patented Adept platform, offers transparency and precision for firms navigating varied regulatory rulesets, helping them validate reports and automate compliance processes.

Jean-Marie Mamodesen brings more than two decades of specialist experience in European regulatory reporting, sales and leadership. He previously worked at Kaizen as managing director and head of European sales, and has held senior positions at Deutsche Börse, Xtrakter (Euroclear), the International Capital Markets Association and the International Securities Market Association.

Mamodesen has worked closely with regulated financial institutions throughout his career, helping firms interpret and respond to shifting transaction reporting expectations. His background spans both technical analysis and front-office sales functions, giving him a detailed understanding of how firms operate in highly regulated markets.

Droit said the hire comes at a time when financial institutions globally are preparing for updated regulatory reporting requirements. As regulatory rules multiply, firms are facing challenges in keeping pace with obligations, interpreting new requirements and managing reporting accuracy at scale. The company believes its Adept-powered products are well placed to support greater assurance and oversight.

Droit chief commercial officer Craig Butterworth said, “Jean-Marie has a proven track record of scaling regulatory technology solutions and a deep understanding of the European transaction reporting landscape. His expertise will be invaluable as we further expand our footprint across Europe to meet the need for automating regulatory compliance.”

Mamodesen said, “What drew me to Droit is its ability to bring clarity and control to the increasing regulatory complexity. Through technology designed by the market and built by experts, Droit’s market-leading decision-making engine provides firms with the assurance, transparency, and precision they need to operate with confidence and stay on the right side of the rules.”
