KYCP partners with StartKYC for embedded AML screening

KYCP has announced a new partnership with StartKYC, naming the company its provider of choice for embedded AML screening services.

The new partnership aims to consolidate all aspects of due diligence—covering politically exposed persons (PEPs), sanctions, and adverse media—into one unified platform. While KYCP already works with several screening providers based on specific client requirements, this partnership represents an evolution in the firm’s offering by providing screening data instantly and on demand, without minimum thresholds or annual commitments.

KYCP founder and CEO Kristoff Zammit Ciantar said, “I’m glad we managed to partner up with StartKYC. I believe there is a lot of room for growth for the both of us and this partnership only makes it more possible. The quality of the data that StartKYC provide together with the ability to seamlessly use this service within our product complements the overall concept of risk orchestration.”

This collaboration unites two critical layers of the compliance and due diligence ecosystem—risk orchestration and data intelligence—enhancing how organisations manage and mitigate risk.

StartKYC brings extensive experience in compliance data management, maintaining over one million curated profiles that include PEP, sanctions, and adverse media data from across the globe. Its databases draw from official government sources, national assemblies, and foreign offices, ensuring depth and reliability. When English-language sources are insufficient, the company turns to local-language records to ensure complete and accurate coverage.

The platform continuously monitors global sanctions lists every 30 minutes and scans over 10,000 sources for adverse media, alongside international watchlists. This comprehensive monitoring provides users with up-to-date and granular insight into both individuals and corporate entities.

StartKYC co-founder Jean Borg said, “At StartKYC, our mission has always been to make AML screening easy, accurate, and accessible. Partnering with KYCP allows us to embed our screening engine directly within one of the most advanced risk orchestration platforms on the market, enabling instant PEP, sanctions, and adverse media checks with no minimums and full flexibility. We’re excited about this partnership and look forward to helping KYCP clients access smarter, faster, and more affordable screening than ever before.”
