Napier AI hires Adam Flowers as new CRO

Napier AI, a London-based RegTech specialising in financial crime compliance, has appointed Adam Flowers as its new chief revenue officer (CRO) to spearhead the company’s next stage of international growth.

Flowers brings with him more than 15 years of leadership experience across four continents, with a track record of scaling SaaS firms and building go-to-market teams. Before joining Napier AI, he worked at Aptitude Software, where he was instrumental in expanding the company into a global player, achieving 800% growth in the APAC market during a seven-year posting in Singapore.

In his new role, Flowers will oversee all revenue-related operations at Napier AI, including marketing, partnerships, direct sales, and growth initiatives through upselling and cross-selling. A key focus will be sharpening the firm’s go-to-market strategy, targeting priority sectors such as banking, wealth and asset management, and payments. He is also tasked with turning partnerships into a scalable revenue driver while ensuring customer needs remain central.

Napier AI chief revenue officer Adam Flowers said, “I’m delighted to be joining Napier AI at such a pivotal point for the business. The pressures of regulatory change, the globalisation of financial systems and the sophistication of financial crime make this a defining moment in the industry. Napier AI’s client base, including tier-one institutions, demonstrates the strength of its platform and the trust it has earned.

“What particularly excites me is Napier AI’s ‘compliance-first AI’ approach, embedding explainable AI in everything we do in a way that delivers real value while avoiding the risks of unchecked automation. Napier AI is a mission driven business, and I am excited to help drive its growth while contributing to the fight against financial crime.”

Napier AI CEO Greg Watson said, “We are thrilled to welcome Adam to the leadership team. His track record of building high-performing global sales organisations and scaling revenue makes him the ideal person to lead our next phase of growth. Adam’s focus on execution, partnerships and customer value aligns perfectly with Napier AI’s ambitions to be recognised as the leader in financial crime compliance. His leadership will be instrumental as we continue to expand globally and cement our position at the forefront of the RegTech market.”

Flowers’s appointment comes shortly after the firm announced the hiring of James Brown as global head of partnerships. Brown, who has more than 20 years of experience with organisations such as Dow Jones and Diligent, is expected to build out Napier AI’s partnership ecosystem to help financial institutions accelerate digital transformation.

At Napier AI, Brown’s focus will be on integrating advanced AI capabilities into collaborative solutions that address the complex realities of financial crime.
