Red Oak, a leading Compliance Connectivity Platform provider, has announced a strategic reshuffle of its executive team to support its ongoing expansion.
The company has named Denise Wypiszenski as chief revenue officer (CRO), Anita Heisl as chief client officer (CCO), and co-founder Cathy Vasilev as chief engagement officer (CEngO), as it continues to scale its regulatory technology offering.
Founded in 2010, Red Oak delivers AI-powered compliance technology tailored to financial services. It specialises in streamlining regulatory workflows by connecting marketing and compliance operations, primarily serving investment firms, wealth managers, and financial advisors.
The recent leadership appointments align with Red Oak’s strategy following its acquisition of 4U Platform, a digital content connectivity solution. The newly expanded team will be focused on client engagement, growth, and execution, building on Red Oak’s mission to simplify regulatory complexity with integrated, scalable technology.
Denise Wypiszenski joins the company as CRO, bringing experience as a FinTech entrepreneur and former co-CEO of 4U. Her career began at Smith Barney on Wall Street and includes founding Orchid Network, an executive search firm for the financial sector. Anita Heisl, the new CCO, brings decades of financial services expertise from Ziegler and Charles Schwab. Most recently, she served as chief engagement officer at 4U. Cathy Vasilev, a Red Oak co-founder and longstanding compliance leader, has now officially taken on the role of chief engagement officer.
Wypiszenski and Heisl both bring a wealth of industry knowledge and trusted relationships that will be essential in expanding Red Oak’s go-to-market and client success strategies. Vasilev, with over 20 years in financial services and insurance compliance, has been integral to Red Oak’s development since its founding.
These changes reinforce Red Oak’s direction as it grows its presence in the investment and insurance sectors. The company continues to focus on providing customisable, connected compliance tools supported by artificial intelligence.
Red Oak CEO Dave Dutch said, “Red Oak has significantly expanded its leadership breadth and depth with our 4U acquisition. Tapping Denise and Anita to lead crucial client-facing roles was an easy decision. Both have cultivated trusted relationships across our industry, and both have proven themselves time and time again over their successful careers in financial services.”
Red Oak executive chairman Romir Bosu said, “Cathy has always approached compliance as a strategic enabler, not a constraint, and she has been a passionate evangelist for Red Oak’s clients and the industry in general. Formalising her role as Red Oak’s leader of engagement is a win for Red Oak, its clients and the financial services overall.”
Together, Wypiszenski, Heisl and Vasilev will help deliver on Red Oak’s vision to empower firms with technology that connects compliant communication across global financial institutions.
