Regnology has launched RRH Ascend, a next-generation version of its Regnology Reporting Hub solution designed for banking and transaction reporting.
The company introduced the product in response to growing industry demand for streamlined, automated regulatory processes. As regulatory expectations rise and data complexity increases, Regnology aims to help firms transition from traditional, manual reporting to a more efficient, connected, and intelligence-driven model.
Regnology delivers software and managed services across regulatory reporting, data management, and supervisory technology, supporting banks, authorities, and financial market participants in meeting cross-border compliance requirements. Its cloud-native solutions are used to simplify reporting frameworks and enhance data quality at scale.
RRH Ascend has been developed to accelerate the financial sector’s move toward Straight-Through Reporting (STR), a new standard inspired by the Straight-Through Processing (STP) model used in capital markets. The product automates reporting workflows end-to-end, integrates data seamlessly, and enables continuous information exchange between firms and supervisors, reducing manual work and improving operational efficiency.
The new platform is underpinned by four key pillars: data governance, regulatory insight, automation intelligence, and collaboration. Built on the proven cloud-native foundation of the original RRH, RRH Ascend supports real-time data harmonisation, regulator-ready output generation, and exception monitoring. The system is also designed to evolve with advanced AI capabilities, allowing organisations to strengthen accuracy and transparency across jurisdictions as regulatory expectations expand.
Additional enhancements include support for modern data architectures and the ability to embed institution-wide oversight into compliance workflows. Financial institutions can use the solution to improve speed, completeness, and auditability across reporting obligations, while benefiting from a seamless transition from their existing RRH environments.
Regnology chief product officer Linda Middleditch said, “For too long, financial regulatory reporting has been seen as a laggard – complex, fragmented, and reactive. RRH Ascend represents a turning point, providing institutions with the clarity and control needed to adopt a fully connected, intelligence-led model. This launch accelerates the industry’s shift toward STR and a new era of regulatory intelligence.”
