RegTech Solutions and Accertify have announced a referral partnership aimed at enhancing account protection for Australia’s financial services sector.
The partnership is designed to help superannuation funds, wealth managers and investment platforms tackle the growing risk of account takeover and fraud, while maintaining a seamless customer experience in a rapidly digitalising market. With Australia’s superannuation system valued at more than AU$4tn, the industry faces mounting pressure to secure member accounts without introducing unnecessary friction for legitimate users.
RegTech will leverage its extensive network within the financial services industry to promote Accertify’s advanced account protection platform. Accertify’s solution integrates behavioural and device analytics, AI- and machine learning–driven insights, and global consortia data to provide layered fraud prevention beyond traditional multi-factor authentication (MFA). This approach detects suspicious activity while allowing trusted customers to enjoy frictionless access to their accounts.
RegTech Solutions specialises in introducing innovative RegTech tools to Australia’s financial ecosystem, helping firms improve compliance and manage operational risk. Accertify, meanwhile, is recognised globally for its fraud prevention and customer protection technology. The company’s platform processes more than US$1.2tn (around AU$1.7tn) in gross merchandise value annually across 14bn events, supporting financial institutions in preventing account takeovers and safeguarding brand reputation.
By combining RegTech’s deep local relationships with Accertify’s proven technology, the collaboration will enhance the security and efficiency of digital interactions within Australia’s financial services industry.
RegTech Solutions managing director Hugh Treweeke said, “Superannuation and wealth platforms need to find the balance between security and customer experience. By working with Accertify, we can give institutions access to technology that strengthens protection of member accounts while reducing unnecessary friction. This is a meaningful step forward in addressing fraud risks in Australia’s financial sector.”
Accertify VP & GM APAC Luke Dynan said, “This partnership extends Accertify’s ability to help Australian financial services organizations protect their customers and their brands from fast-evolving threats. By combining RegTech’s deep connections in the industry with Accertify’s technology and global scale, we can deliver stronger account protection and a smoother digital experience to institutions across Australia.”
