Runtime security firm OLIGO secures $60m war chest

Oligo Security, the runtime security specialist, has closed a $60m funding round, taking its total capital raised to $140m as it races to keep pace with attackers using AI to weaponise vulnerabilities faster than ever before.

The round drew backing from Ballistic Ventures, Canon Capital, Greenfield Partners, Lightspeed Venture Partners, Red Dot Capital Partners and TLV Partners, alongside angel investors including Mellanox Technologies co-founder Eyal Waldman, whose earlier company was bought by NVIDIA for $6.9bn.

The fresh capital follows a period of strong growth for the business, with revenue up 300% year-on-year and its valuation more than doubling since its Series B.

Oligo was also picked by AWS as its sole AI runtime security partner for AWS Security Hub Extended, joined Palantir’s FedStart Program to pursue FedRAMP High and DoD Impact Level 5 clearance, and rolled out Runtime Exploit Blocking, a tool designed to catch and stop exploit attempts at the application layer as they happen.

Oligo intends to put the new funding towards product development, expanding its international sales and marketing reach, and pushing forward its goal of helping businesses shut down zero-day and n-day exploits before they cause damage.

The company frames the investment as a response to mounting enterprise demand for security tools built to withstand attacks generated by AI at speed.

Oligo’s technology protects applications, cloud infrastructure and AI systems by monitoring code as it runs, giving customers a live view of genuine risk. This lets security teams block exploit attempts without disrupting live services, filter out irrelevant vulnerability alerts, and buy breathing room between patches through virtual patching.

“AI has fundamentally changed the economics of exploitation,” said Nadav Czerninski, co-founder and CEO of OLIGO Security. “When attackers can find vulnerabilities and build exploits at machine speed, runtime becomes the only place you can definitively understand true risk and stop attacks without impacting production. Our investors have seen this transition firsthand through the outcomes we drive for customers, and they’re doubling down because they know runtime will define the next era of cybersecurity.”
