Signicat has broadened its eID Hub capabilities by integrating the Czech Bank iD system, strengthening its position as one of the few international providers offering this form of authentication.
The addition brings its portfolio to more than 36 digital identity methods, supporting businesses in achieving fast, compliant, and secure onboarding.
Bank iD is a bank-issued e-identification used by over 4.6m people in the Czech Republic. It has already facilitated more than 54m transactions, delivering banking-grade security for identity verification. Businesses can use it to verify customers’ identities in seconds, with full adherence to Czech Anti-Money Laundering (AML) rules.

It also opens opportunities for companies in Germany, Austria, France, and Poland—key trading partners of the Czech Republic—to onboard Czech clients or trading partners more easily.
The inclusion of Czech Bank iD highlights the flexibility of Signicat’s eID Hub, which enables companies to connect via industry standards instead of proprietary methods. New eID schemes can be added through simple configuration rather than lengthy technical integrations. Businesses can also tap into Signicat’s 200+ data sources to enhance identity profiles, while built-in risk assessment tools offer additional security layers.
