Stellar Cyber secures $25m credit facility for AI SecOps growth

Stellar Cyber, an AI-native security operations platform built for managed security service providers and enterprise teams, has secured a delayed draw senior credit facility of up to $25m from Horizon Technology Finance Corporation, a Monroe Capital affiliate, to drive its next phase of growth.

The funding will be directed towards accelerating development of Stellar Cyber’s AI-powered platform, widening its commercial reach, and strengthening the open, unified security operations capabilities relied upon by MSSPs and enterprise security teams globally.

Stellar Cyber’s platform consolidates security data into a single, unified environment, enabling organisations to detect and respond to cyber threats more efficiently.

It brings together SIEM, network detection and response, identity threat detection, and multi-layer AI capabilities, and offers over 500 out-of-the-box integrations with third-party security tools. Via its network of MSSP partners, the platform supports more than 14,000 organisations in over 50 countries. The company is backed by Highland Capital Partners, Susquehanna Ventures and Valley Capital Partners.

Horizon CIO Paul Seitz said, “Deploying growth capital to innovative, high-growth companies with proven market momentum and a clear path to scale is a core focus of Horizon’s venture lending platform.

“Our financing solutions are designed to support leading technology and growth businesses as they expand and execute on their strategic objectives. We look forward to continuing to partner with exceptional management teams across the innovation economy.”

Stellar Cyber co-founder and CEO Changming Liu said, “Horizon’s deep capabilities in venture lending and their partnership approach made them a natural fit for Stellar Cyber at this stage of our growth.

“This credit facility will allow us to accelerate our AI-driven platform development, expand our go-to-market reach, and continue delivering the open, unified security operations capabilities on which MSSPs and enterprise security teams depend.”
