Villar steps into the role following a successful period leading Paycor, where he was instrumental in driving product innovation and scaling the human capital management software firm’s operations. His leadership at Paycor saw the company grow its market share significantly, culminating in its sale to Paychex for $4.1bn in April 2025.
Villar’s extensive background in the B2B SaaS and enterprise software sectors aligns with AuditBoard’s mission to transform how organisations manage risk, audit, and compliance processes.
