ShelterZoom, a pioneering cybersecurity firm focused on document tokenisation and secure content management, has marked a significant milestone in its growth trajectory.
The company announced it has raised $6m in its latest funding round, bringing its total investment to $30m. Specific investors were not named.
ShelterZoom is best known as the creator of the patented document tokenisation Single Source Of Truth® technology. It offers SaaS platforms—most notably Document GPS and Spare Tire—that embed security within documents, ensuring confidentiality, integrity and traceability across highly regulated sectors such as healthcare, finance, legal and government.
The newly acquired funds will support global expansion, particularly into healthcare cybersecurity, and fuel development of innovative technologies designed for hospitals and clinics.
ShelterZoom’s growth has been propelled by its expanding platform adoption, validation from notable entities such as the United Nations International Computing Centre (UNICC), and a steadily growing network of strategic alliances across the U.S., EMEA, Japan and Latin America.
With 29 patents and 29 trademarks, ShelterZoom underlines its commitment to innovation and intellectual property. CEO and co‑founder Chao Cheng‑Shorland stated, “We’ve never aimed to follow the market—we’ve always aimed to lead it. That means building technology that doesn’t just protect our clients today, but anticipates their challenges tomorrow.”
