Cybersecurity firm Oneleet secures $33m Series A

Oneleet, a cybersecurity company focused on eliminating what it calls “compliance theatre”, has raised $33m in a Series A round led by Dawn Capital.

The investment also saw participation from a number of high-profile backers, including Frank Slootman, former CEO of Snowflake and ServiceNow, Arash Ferdowsi, co-founder of Dropbox, Y Combinator, and a group of industry founders and CISOs.

Founded by a team of penetration testers with experience breaching Fortune 500 companies and intelligence agencies, Oneleet positions itself as a security-first platform that delivers compliance as an outcome, rather than a tick-box exercise. The company integrates a wide range of security functions such as penetration testing, code scanning, cloud posture management, mobile device management, security training, and attack surface monitoring into one platform.

The fresh capital will be used to expand engineering capacity with seasoned security experts, strengthen its AI-powered solutions across multiple cybersecurity domains, and scale its go-to-market channels.

Unlike traditional providers that prioritise minimum checklists for standards such as SOC 2 and ISO 27001, Oneleet argues its approach starts with implementing robust security, which then ensures compliance is achieved automatically.
