Axiom GRC, a fast-growing GRC platform, has acquired AssurancePoint in a move designed to accelerate its expansion across the U.S. cyber compliance market.
The acquisition forms part of Axiom GRC’s broader strategy to strengthen its footprint in North America and deepen its assurance and audit capabilities. While the value of the deal has not been disclosed, the transaction marks a further step in the group’s ambition to build a comprehensive, end-to-end GRC offering in a market experiencing sustained regulatory and cyber risk pressure.
Founded in 2021 and headquartered in Atlanta, AssurancePoint has quickly established itself as a trusted IT assurance partner for mid-sized businesses. The company specialises in SOC and ISO audits and advisory services, using a technology-enabled audit model that supports recurring engagement with clients navigating increasingly complex compliance requirements.
Axiom GRC provides a combination of software and services across governance, risk and compliance, supporting more than 30,000 clients globally. The group operates across the United Kingdom, United States, Europe and Israel, and is backed by a team of more than 1,500 specialists. Its offering spans consultancy, compliance software and assurance services, positioning the company as a provider of integrated compliance solutions for organisations of varying sizes.
As part of the transaction, AssurancePoint will integrate with IS Partners, Axiom GRC’s U.S. platform. This integration is expected to further scale Axiom’s assurance capabilities in the region while supporting the delivery of a more unified compliance experience for U.S. customers. The acquisition also represents Axiom’s second U.S. deal, underlining its commitment to the market and its intent to capture growth opportunities across rapidly evolving regulatory environments.
The move reflects a wider trend within the RegTech and GRC sector, as providers seek to combine advisory expertise with scalable technology platforms to meet rising demand for cyber, risk and compliance support. By bringing AssurancePoint into the group, Axiom aims to strengthen its position as a turnkey compliance provider, capable of supporting organisations from advisory through to audit and ongoing compliance management.
Axiom GRC CEO Alex Dacre said, “AssurancePoint’s impressive growth and exceptional recurring performance reflect the strength of its technology-enabled audit model. Integrating AssurancePoint into IS Partners further internationalizes our GRC capabilities and strengthens our position in the U.S. assurance market. This acquisition represents another step in building a unified, integrated GRC platform serving businesses of all sizes.”
