PeakMetrics, an AI-powered narrative intelligence company that helps enterprises and governments identify and counter manipulated online content, has completed a $6m Series A fundraise, taking its total funding to $16.3m.
Moneta Ventures led the round, with existing backers Techstars, Parameter Ventures, VITALIZE Venture Capital, and Gurtin Ventures all returning to participate.
The injection of capital will be used to enhance the platform’s real-time harmful narrative detection capabilities and deepen the intelligence tools available to decision-makers. Among the developments planned is the introduction of corporate fact-checking hubs, which would enable organisations to position themselves as authoritative sources of verified information.
A portion of the funding will also be channelled into expanding the company’s commercial reach, with ambitions to onboard a wider range of enterprise and government clients.
The close of the round comes on the back of considerable commercial momentum, with the company having tripled its revenue on a year-on-year basis. The growth reflects rising organisational demand for tools capable of navigating an online environment increasingly shaped by synthetic content. PeakMetrics estimates that as much as 90% of internet content could be AI-generated this year, creating fertile conditions for coordinated disinformation campaigns to take hold and spread rapidly.
Founded with roots in defence and national security, PeakMetrics operates an AI agent-based platform that monitors the information landscape around the clock. It is designed to help organisations understand not just what narratives are circulating, but why they are gaining traction, whether they are being artificially amplified, and which audience segments are shifting in their trust.
PeakMetrics co-founder and CEO Nick Loui said, “AI has changed the speed and scale of how narratives spread online. Organizations can no longer afford to operate with partial visibility. PeakMetrics gives leaders the ability to quantify what is spreading, if it’s authentic, and what requires action. This funding allows us to accelerate our mission of bringing clarity to a world of distorted information.”
Moneta Ventures partner Brent Kelton said, “As AI accelerates the spread of information online, PeakMetrics’ narrative intelligence platform is becoming essential for enterprises and governments seeking to detect and defend against emerging narrative threats. From day one, the team’s ambition and ability to execute have stood out, and their platform is already delivering clear value to customers. We’re excited to partner with PeakMetrics as they scale into a massive market opportunity.”
