Nasdaq has completed its acquisition of Dasseti in a move that extends the reach of its Nasdaq eVestment platform deeper into private markets oversight.
The deal, first disclosed on 23 July 2026, formalises a relationship that dates back to 2022, when Nasdaq Ventures made an early stage investment in Dasseti. Financial terms of the transaction have not been made public. Dasseti’s technology will now sit inside Nasdaq eVestment, spanning the full cycle of manager research, due diligence and ongoing monitoring.
Institutional teams increasingly track managers, strategies and asset classes across markets where data can be inconsistent and reporting demands keep rising, particularly within private markets.
Nasdaq eVestment sits at the centre of that activity, linking close to 4,800 contributing asset managers with over 1,200 asset owners and intermediaries, and supporting oversight of more than $90tn in assets under management spread across upwards of 112,000 products in 109 countries. Its private markets coverage has grown to include more than 16,000 managers and 95,000 funds, all reachable through Nasdaq eVestment itself as well as external data providers and customer relationship management systems.
Dasseti applies artificial intelligence to streamline the due diligence questionnaires, requests for proposals and continuous monitoring that shape how investors assess and track managers. Its network spans 17,000 asset managers and general partners, representing $34tn in assets under management, making it one of the largest due diligence and monitoring ecosystems in the industry.
Folded into Nasdaq eVestment, the technology is designed to speed up response times and lift data quality, giving consultants and institutional investors a single environment that carries them from initial screening through to selection and ongoing oversight, while unifying the RFP, due diligence questionnaire and database management workflow for asset managers.
Nasdaq executive vice president and chief product officer, capital access platforms, Oliver Albers said, “Much of the due diligence and RFP process still happens outside core research platforms, in a patchwork of spreadsheets, PDFs, and email threads. With Dasseti, we’re bringing AI-powered due diligence and monitoring into Nasdaq eVestment, creating a more connected experience that helps institutional investors move from research to decision-making and ongoing oversight with greater efficiency and confidence.”
