HiddenLayer, the AI security company that protects agentic, generative and predictive AI applications for enterprises, has closed a $100m Series B funding round.
The round was led by Delta-v Capital, with additional backing from Ten Eleven Ventures, Morgan Stanley, M12, Microsoft’s venture arm, and Booz Allen Ventures.
The fresh capital will be channelled into expanding HiddenLayer’s enterprise platform, with particular focus on its Agentic Runtime Security tools and a newly introduced offering, Agent Harness Security, built to protect organisations that are bringing autonomous coding agents into their software development pipelines.
The investment follows a period of rapid expansion for the business. HiddenLayer’s annual recurring revenue has climbed more than tenfold over the past year, alongside the addition of over 50 new platform customers spanning brokerage, banking, insurance, accountancy, government, technology, IT services, pharmaceuticals, aviation, and US defence and intelligence agencies.
The company has also picked up clients abroad, including a major global pharmaceutical group, several premium car manufacturers and food and drink businesses, while separately helping a leading frontier model developer protect a user base exceeding 700 million people each week.
Underpinning this growth is HiddenLayer’s research division, which holds 39 granted patents and a further 65 pending across areas including adversarial detection, model protection and AI threat analysis. Its researchers built what is described as the first full Adversarial Prompt Engineering Taxonomy, and continue to uncover vulnerabilities spanning foundation models through to the broader tools and infrastructure that support them.
HiddenLayer secures agentic, generative and predictive AI applications across the full AI lifecycle, from discovery and supply-chain security through to attack simulation and runtime defence. Its platform draws on patented technology and adversarial AI research to shield AI systems from emerging threats, safeguard intellectual property, support regulatory compliance and give organisations the confidence to deploy and scale AI.
With this new funding, HiddenLayer is prioritising three areas where it sees enterprises most at risk: giving teams visibility into how AI agents behave once in production and stopping misuse or unauthorised actions in real time; and protecting the coding agents and harnesses now writing and shipping software with limited human review.
Chris Sestito, CEO and Co-Founder of HiddenLayer, said, “We set out to pioneer trusted, secure use of AI for enterprises, long before most organizations saw the urgency we do today. This funding lets us keep growing the purpose-built team and platform required to meet that moment as agentic AI becomes core to how enterprises operate.”
Delta-v Capital Partner Dan Williams said, “Traditional security tools were built for code and infrastructure, not for models that can be poisoned, hijacked, or manipulated through their own inputs.
“HiddenLayer built a platform from the ground up to secure AI across its full lifecycle, from the model at its core to the agentic systems being layered on top and whatever architecture comes next. We’ve watched this team turn deep adversarial-AI research into a product CISOs actually rely on, and we’re proud to partner with them.”
