MCO (MyComplianceOffice), a compliance management software specialist serving the financial services sector, has secured strategic growth financing worth more than $100m from Accel-KKR Credit Partners.
The funding comes from Accel-KKR Credit Partners, a private credit fund run by Accel-KKR, a Silicon Valley-based global investment firm with a focus on software. MCO plans to channel the capital into its long-term growth plans, with particular emphasis on advancing its product and AI capabilities and broadening its market presence.
The deal arrives at a time when financial services firms face mounting regulatory pressure across a range of areas, including staff activity, communications, transactions and relationships with third parties. To help clients respond, MCO has spent the past year rolling out personal trading capabilities covering digital assets and prediction markets. It has also upgraded its AI-driven features, adding tools such as summaries of trade alerts, communications monitoring based on intent, and support with policies.
The financing represents a continuation of a partnership between the two firms that dates back to 2020, signalling a further step in a long-standing relationship.
MCO provides integrated compliance management software designed to help financial services firms around the world run their operations efficiently, ethically and in line with regulations. Its MyComplianceOffice platform gives compliance teams one central system through which they can show they are actively overseeing their compliance obligations, as well as the regulated activities of staff, financial transactions and third-party relationships. More than 1,500 client firms in over 125 countries rely on the platform to replace manual workflows and fragmented systems, helping them lower both cost and risk.
MCO founder and CEO Brian Fahey said, “We will use this investment to radically transform our industry and how our client firms leverage technology to deliver their compliance programs more effectively. By unifying processes, data, and evidence on a single platform—and deploying AI where it drives the most impact—MCO is fundamentally changing how compliance is managed. Our vision for our suite of solutions has never been so achievable. We are expanding our technology team, investing even more deeply in product development and AI-powered solutions, innovating faster, and continuing to deliver the integrated compliance platform that financial services needs.”
Accel-KKR managing director Samantha Shows said, “MCO is at the cutting edge of financial services compliance technology, combining a proven track record with a bold vision for transforming how compliance is managed. Its highly differentiated platform delivers clear value to clients, and this partnership demonstrates our continued confidence in MCO’s leadership, technology, and ability to define the next generation of compliance.”
