Abacus Group, a global provider of IT and cybersecurity services tailored to the financial services sector, has announced its acquisition of Chicago-based MSSP and MSP Entara.
The deal significantly enhances Abacus Group’s reach in the US market, expanding its portfolio with strengthened capabilities in incident response and AI-driven service delivery.
With a strong reputation for its cybersecurity offerings, Abacus Group will integrate Entara’s advanced incident response services and its AI-powered ServiceNow platform. This move aims to improve the quality and scope of cyber defence solutions available to clients, enabling a more robust 24/7 cyber recovery service and a seamless IT service experience.
The acquisition also allows for the global expansion of Abacus Group’s managed IT services, including its abacusFlex platform, to Entara’s client base. The platform is known for delivering regulatory-compliant and premium solutions tailored for financial managers and large international organisations, further aligning with Entara’s existing high-touch and regulated client profile.
