Datamaran debuts Core product for ESG compliance

Datamaran

Datamaran, a global leader in risk and governance intelligence software, has introduced its latest innovation, Datamaran Core, aimed at transforming how companies handle sustainability-related disclosures and ESG risk management.

The launch of Datamaran Core comes in response to growing regulatory demands and the need for companies to better align their ESG efforts with corporate strategy. As ESG expectations evolve, businesses increasingly require tools that not only streamline compliance but also deliver strategic value.

Datamaran provides AI-powered software designed to help organisations identify, monitor and report on emerging ESG risks and trends. Its platform supports legal, risk and sustainability teams in navigating a shifting regulatory environment while embedding ESG into core governance structures.

The newly launched Core product enables companies to confidently conduct audit-ready, repeatable assessments of ESG topics that matter most to their business. With a strong focus on automation, Core helps eliminate the reliance on static spreadsheets by offering streamlined, AI-assisted workflows that support more efficient and accurate ESG analysis.

Among its capabilities, Core provides access to purpose-built modules including Materiality Assessment, IRO Hub, DMA Evaluate, Monitoring, Report Search & Regulatory Search, and Datapoints Export with an Assurance Pack. These tools allow organisations to track regulatory changes, benchmark against peers, and prepare for both internal and external audits.

Core is also designed to integrate ESG considerations into wider business processes, helping firms improve decision-making, strengthen regulatory alignment, and stay agile in the face of shifting ESG expectations.

As part of the launch, Datamaran has also introduced Harbor+, the premium tier of its new global community for corporate sustainability professionals. Core users gain exclusive access to events, ESG expert insights, and proprietary research including a Quarterly Policy Brief.

Datamaran CEO Marjella Lecourt-Alma said, “Core gives companies the capabilities they need to confidently run repeatable, audit-ready assessments while remaining agile in the face of shifting requirements. With Datamaran Core, organizations have the insights necessary to move from compliance burden to strategic advantage.”

Recently, Datamaran launched Harbor, a new global community platform designed specifically for in-house corporate sustainability professionals.

The launch of Harbor comes in response to growing challenges faced by sustainability leaders, including intensifying regulatory pressures, rising stakeholder expectations, and increased scrutiny of ESG practices. Many professionals in this space are expected to spearhead transformative change with limited resources and under mounting scrutiny.
